why this is interesting
- A fire in one of the turbine halls at the power station, forced all three of its units offline
- The nearby Stanwell power plant were fined 260k (AUD) as they set all the units with an under voltage setting of 0.85pu for 0.1s. The fine was because they applied the setting without notifying AEMO and also that the setting conflicted with the ride-through requirement of 10 seconds.
